Don’t call it a crisis.

What happens when a few guys who have been writing and playing and sporadically recording music for decades - mostly for their own enjoyment - finally get things in gear creatively while staring down the barrel of their 40’s?

So much for a “30 under 30” shout-out. We’re not holding our breath for a callback on that “Teen Vogue” cover shoot, either. Clearly, we’re not kids anymore. I mean, we HAVE kids. A blessed pile of them, between us. We’re blooming a little late, and dealing with a little bit too much “rootedness” in life to think about hopping in a van and taking the country by storm in the name of rock ‘n roll these days. Such wonderful misadventures belong to the young.

But, if truth be told, the songs are actually better, now. There’s some perspective and depth and creative maturity that the passage of years alone can bring to a songwriter, and to a song. We’re finding that the decades are yielding some music worth creating, capturing and sharing at this point. So, we’ll do that, and see where it goes.

We’ll name it: this band is a midlife project. But, don’t call it a crisis. With new tunes tastefully rooted in these three songwriter's late-90's, post-grunge, alt-pop sensibilities and embracing a 21st century finish, we just hope you’ll call it worth listening to.
